Cyberscouts filmed at Chatsworth
ALL sections of the 1st Derbyshire Dales Cyberscouts were welcomed to the grounds of the Chatsworth estate for their April meeting.
The day was opened by Group Scout Leader Tim Polkinghorne and was filmed by the Scouting Association.
The Beaver section (aged six to eight) enjoyed an outdoor art workshop led by Lewis Noble, who has spent the last year working in conjunction with Chatsworth to develop a body of work covering the varied aspects of the estate.
The Cub section (ages eight to 10) completed a track and trail activity which led them into an area of the estate where deer were grazing.
The Scout section put up the Group’s new Icelandic tents bought with funding from the National Lottery.
Mr Polkinghorne and his team would like to thank all the parent helpers who supported the sections, James Trevethick, of Chatsworth House, and Lewis Noble, whose The Chatsworth Reflected exhibition will be on display at Chatsworth House until April 30 and then opens in London at the Hart Gallery, Islington, on May 7. If you are interested in viewing any of Lewis’s work, visit www.nobleart.co.uk.
