Fairplay charity seeking volunteers
Alice Johnson, a volunteer co-ordinator for Fairplay, was the main speaker at Ashbourne Business Club's June breakfast meeting.
The Fairplay charity supports families throughout Derbyshire with children and young people with disabilities,organising holiday playschemes and activity days as well as term-time groups for youngsters aged three to 19.
The group is looking for volunteers aged 14 and over to lend a hand at the playschemes and activity days.
Fairplay has been awarded National Lottery funding of £3.1 million to develop a play centre in Chesterfield and the charity hopes to open more in the future.
